DECOR PLATE 'RIPIATTO'

The RIPIATTO line is composed of unique decorative plates to hang, in which the ancient Italian ceramic tradition of the 1900s, in particular of Laveno and Tognana, is revived. All the images on decals are transferred by third-fire firing.

The simplicity of the workmanship of these plates, the finish, in some examples embellished with a pure gold or silver profile, make them the ideal support to give life to a playful and provocative line thanks to the creations of three artists: the designer Toupatou Orietta Marcon, who signs the collections Messaggi and Pro e contro; the illustrator Patrizia Peruffo, author of the Insettario collection; and the decorative artist Stefano Pravato who gives life to the Bestiario series.

NOTE: Since these are unique vintage plates from different origins, the measurements may differ slightly from those indicated.

The beauty of these objects lies as much in the images/illustrations as in the support, vintage plates sought after among markets, antique dealers and old cupboards that still preserve the family plates. Precisely because they are used plates and not new they can present small imperfections that enhance the flavor of other times.
